GRASP Support and Chat Groups Update – Fall 2020

Happy Fall everyone! We hope you are staying safe and able to get the support you need during this time. We are delighted to be able offer the following free resources to GRASP Members.

We’re excited to announce a new support group in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The facilitator, Victoria, is a social work student and looking forward to connecting with more Autistic adults. For the time being, the group will meet virtually through Zoom, with plans to meet in-person for community outings in the future.

In other support group news- GRASP Los Angeles has begun a virtual book club. Their first book is, No One is Too Small To Make a Difference by fellow Aspie Greta Thunberg. The group plans to read a new book every few months. If you’re in the Los Angeles area and interested in participating, reach out to us at info@grasp.org.

Finally, we are reinstating our Over 50’s Virtual chat group. The group will meet on the third Wednesday from 4:30-5:30pm Eastern time, with the first meeting on October 21, 2020. We will be moving our parents, family members, and NT significant others chat to the fifth Wednesdays of each month and will meet again on March 31, 2021.
