My name is Tim Turner and I have Asperger's. I find it extremely difficult to relate to neurotypicals. No matter how many times I explain my condition they refuse to understand my words and instead choose to label me as a retard, dangerous person, etc. I believe we atypicals need to stick together and combine our mental powers in the face of extreme prejudice, to discover our common ground and how to best deal with this lifetime, and ultimately to create some form of art using our analytical and creative powers and visualization skills. I hang out at Union Square as part of Occupy, and I believe our strengths can be shared together in mutual understanding and cooperation. I am much more comfortable communicating in written form behind the safety of a computer screen, but I am willing to risk going outside of my comfort zone in face to face contact for the sake of ourselves, and I request you to do the same. Strength in numbers. Let's hang out and be friends. Ask for Timmy Turner at Union Square, I'm the retarded one.
