Parents Advocacy

Parents are relatively lucky: There are many fine parents organizations
in the tri-state area, as well as a magnificent one operating on a national level. GRASP has varying degrees of relationships with all
of them, and we partner with two of them (AHA-AS-PDD and the Connecticut Autism Spectrum Resource Center). Any of these agencies will be of assistance to you.

In Long Island (and some NYCity)
AHA Association
Long Island Parent/Professional Support Group also offering support for Individuals on the Spectrum. Dates, locations, and times on website. Conference every April focusing on issues of independence with resources and national speakers, panels and workshops.
