GRASP Support Group Southwest MO

Welcome to the Southwest Missouri GRASP support group!

CONTACT: The facilitator is Rachal Bales (rachalbales@yahoo.com)

WHEN AND WHERE: Please see the GRASP calendarfor details on upcoming meetings - we generally meet the 3rd Friday of each month from 6:30-8:30.  We meet at the Southwest Missouri Bank community room, on the corner of North Rangeline and Zora ave in Joplin.

DIRECTIONS:

Directions from I-44: exit onto Rangeline Rd heading north. Travel north on Rangeline for approximately 3 miles, passing Walmart, Toys R Us, and Northpark Mall at points along the way. Southwest Missouri Bank will be on the west side of the road, across from a snak-atak. Turn left at the light, then left into the parking lot.

Directions from HWY 71: Driving south on 71 towards Webb City/Joplin, take the Webb City/ E. MacArthur Drive exit. Continue on 71 south as it merges into and becomes E. MacArthur Drive, heading west. At the 2nd stop light, which is Madison Ave, turn left so you are now heading south on Madison. Madison becomes North Rangeline Road in approximately 1 mile, at Zora Rd. Turn right onto Zora, then immediately left into the bank parking lot.

WHO: Anyone on the spectrum is invited, plus those in support roles if they clearly identify their role. Membership information is kept through the main GRASP office, so you must subscribe before you can attend.  This allows your membership to remain as anonymous as you desire.  We respectfully request that anyone in attendance not share with others the names of anyone else they have seen at a meeting.

COST: All GRASP groups are absolutely FREE to attend. However, GRASP survives on funding from foundations, corporations, and generous individuals. If you wish to donate to GRASP, we would gratefully appreciate it (and we’re almost certain to need it). You can make a tax-deductible donation with a credit card via our DONATE page or mail your check made out to GRASP to: GRASP, 666 Broadway, Suite 825, New York, NY 10012

GRASP Support Group Removal Policy
(out of over 6,500 people, we've luckily only had to use this 7 times.
But there'll be more— we are vulnerable by design as we do not demand that everyone bring often-expensive proof of diagnosis)
